What is the cheapest cell phone plan in Houston Tx?
My work bought and pays for a new phone and my husband has a phone from work. I'm cancelling my Verizon contract for three phones (approx $110/mo) but my daughter needs a phone so I can reach her. What is the cheapest plan out there? Pre-paid? We own a verizon phone and a sprint phone from a previous sprint plan we had. Is there a cheap pre-paid plan for either of these? I'd like to keep it under $30/mo if possible. If not, what other suggestions are there? Thanks!
btw - we don't use land lines, so cell is our only means of communication.

Well i dont live in houston..but i know alot about cell phones and i know that the pre- paid plans can also be very expensive... If you guys use your fones alot them pre-paid isnt best for you.. Because when your minutes are gone or your balance is low you have to keep refilling over and over so that your fone does not get disconnected.. This can get fairly expensive if you talk alot like myself... I have us cellular but i have a contract and they have veri good pre paid plans the best that i have seen.. I think its like 400 minutes with free incoming calls-- which will save alot of your minutes and free nights and weekends which will help also--- i think this will run you about 40-45 dollars something like that im not so sure but i kno us cellular is everywhere so u should check it out...... Whats the best and cheapest cell phone plan?
I am looking for a good and cheap plan. Preferably something with free nights and weekends, and if there's a text plan cool, if not, I can live without texting.
Also, where do I go to sign up for a plan? I'm kind of new to the cell phone business since this is going to be my first plan by myself and not sharing one with anyone else.

I myself am a prepaid fan and if you want to go cheap then prepaid is the way to go. I know that prepaid cell phones haven't been popular at all with anyone because they charge you by the minute and per text message weather sent or received. The thing is that the prepaid industry has changed enormously in the past 2 years. Many providers now offer unlimited features which is a money saver! I myself would recommend Alltel U prepaid, you can't go wrong. While your at it though compare that and do the math against other mainstream providers such as T-Mobile To Go, Verizon Inpulse, At&t Go Phone.
